Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Intelligence and Communications Officer to join our team at Police Life. As a key member of our Counter Terrorism Command, you will play a critical role in supporting the MPS in its mission to keep London safe.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide intelligence and communications support to the SO15 Counter Terrorism Command, working closely with other government agencies and law enforcement bodies. You will be responsible for receiving, registering, and grading enquiries and information from internal and external sources, including intelligence agencies.

You will also be involved in implementing pre-planned contingency plans, monitoring MPS Command & Control systems, and interrogating SO15 and MPS systems on behalf of MPS units and other forces. Additionally, you will handle calls on the anti-terrorist hotline and undertake initial fast-time assessment and evaluation of incoming information with a view to any immediate action required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide intelligence and communications support to the SO15 Counter Terrorism Command

Requirements:

  • National Security Vetting (NSV) Developed Vetting (DV) level clearance
  • UK nationality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
