Area Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sales Territory Manager to join our team. As a Regional Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base, managing key growth accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

This is a fully remote role with a company that values their people and offers career enhancement and development.

Location: Northampton, Cambridge, Milton Keynes, Luton, Oxford, Watford, Reading

Salary: £40K to £50K basic plus Bonus + Company Car (EV + Charger + Electric Fuel Card) + 23 days holiday (plus BH 31 days total) + Pension + Employee Benefits + Fully Remote

The Role:

  1. Be an experienced Sales Territory Manager.
  2. Manage and run your own diary.
  3. Ideally have experience within the Automotive / Automotive Aftermarket / Motor Factor / Commercial Vehicle / Off Highway or OEM sectors.
  4. Maintain and increase sales within your assigned region.
  5. Achieve sales targets and goals set for your area and team.
  6. Build and expand customer base through relationship building and development.
  7. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements.
  8. Be the main contact between customers and internal departments.
  9. Resolve customer issues and handle complaints to build trust and customer loyalty.
  10. Analyse customer purchasing data to identify future business opportunities.
  11. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  12. Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
