Salary: £60k - £70k

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of estimating and tendering for Groundworks and Civil Engineering projects, primarily in Housing and Commercial sectors. This will involve overseeing projects from tender stage to completion and final accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed estimates for Groundworks and Civil Engineering projects.
  • Identify potential cost risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Source supplier and sub-contractor quotations.
  • Liaise with Clients, Surveyors, and Project Managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Attend pre-contract meetings and maintain a good working relationship with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Civils Estimator in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
