About the Role
The Health Recruit Network is seeking an experienced Perioperative Lead to join their esteemed team as a Surgical Team Lead.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role within the surgical team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the surgical team, ensuring the seamless delivery of surgical services and maintaining top-tier patient safety.
- Perform scrub duties for various surgical procedures, adhering strictly to sterile techniques.
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams to anticipate needs and ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee the maintenance and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in policy development and implementation to continuously enhance surgical services.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Registered as a Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with the NMC or HCPC.
- Extensive experience in scrub roles within a surgical environment, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and infection control.
