Job Title: 1:1 Primary Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Primary Tutor to join our team at GSL Education. As a tutor, you will work closely with primary school students, providing personalized academic support tailored to their individual needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting one-on-one tutoring sessions with primary school students.
  • Developing and implementing personalized learning plans based on student assessments.
  • Helping students improve their academic skills and achieve their learning goals.
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Providing feedback to parents or guardians on student performance.
Requirements:
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant tutoring experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary school curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and the ability to motivate students.
  • Flexibility in scheduling sessions to accommodate student needs.

Please note that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS on the update service or completing an application for a new check.
