Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Warehouse Operative with a valid counter-balance FLT license to join our team. As a key player in our logistics and distribution operations, you will be responsible for handling live loads of up to 1-ton bags of master seeds and ensuring their safe transport within our warehouse and distribution centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a counter-balance forklift truck to load, unload, and transport bags of master seeds.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by handballing and assisting with general warehouse duties.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines while handling heavy loads and operating the forklift.
Shift Patterns:
- Monday to Friday: 0600 - 1800
- Saturdays: 0600 - 1200 during peak periods
Requirements:
- Valid counter-balance FLT license and experience operating forklifts.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift up to 25 kg.
- Dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic.
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during busy seasons.
Compensation Package:
We offer a competitive salary of £750 per week, broken down into a basic hourly rate of £12.50 and overtime pay at £18.75 per hour.
