Activity Coordinator Role

A dynamic opportunity to make a positive impact on patients' lives as an Activity Coordinator at Priory Hospital Cardiff.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual with excellent communication skills to develop and implement engaging activities that enhance patients' wellbeing and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver a varied program of therapeutic, wellbeing and social activities for patients across site, working collaboratively with occupational therapy teams and ward staff.
  • Create calendars that support patients in filling their time meaningfully, promoting independence and autonomy.
  • Listen to patients through conversation and questionnaires to inform the production of activity programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups, churches, schools and community centers to enrich patient experiences.
  • Pre-plan and risk assess activities before implementation, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.

About You:

Salary:

£23,464.35 per annum, plus benefits.
