Job Summary:
Tops Day Nurseries seeks a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Practitioner – Level 3 to join our team. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children from birth to five years old.
About the Role:
As a Nursery Practitioner – Level 3, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Your primary duties will include:
- Providing day-to-day care, including feeding, changing diapers, and helping children with toilet training.
- Developing and leading fun, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development, focusing on key areas like social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.
- Observing children's development and identifying any areas of concern. You will help children develop their motor skills, language, and social interactions through play and structured learning.
- Ensuring that children are safe and emotionally supported. You will create an atmosphere that encourages children to explore and learn independently.
- Keeping records of each child's progress, including documenting milestones, behaviors, and developmental needs. This is often part of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework in the UK.
- Maintaining regular communication with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns that arise.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
