The ideal candidate will have:
- 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- APQP/PPAP experience is beneficial
- Self-motivation and a right-first-time approach
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
The Quality Engineer role will involve:
- Driving process standardization and waste elimination
- Supporting 8D activities on quality concerns
- Working on NPI products and supplier quality development
- Developing and maintaining quality assurance throughout the product development cycle
- Collating material compliance data and reporting
- Resolving customer issues in a timely manner
- Championing problem-solving with RCA tools
- Handling internal and external audits
- Monitoring supplier performance and process capability
- Improving OTD performance and quality rates
- Maintaining records of products and approved suppliers
- Identifying and leading improvement projects
