Key Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality veterinary care and treatment to a diverse range of animals, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare and customer satisfaction.
  • To perform routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency care as required, demonstrating expertise and professionalism in all aspects of veterinary nursing.
  • To maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient, adhering to clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • To work collaboratively with a dedicated team of veterinary nurses and support staff, promoting a culture of open communication and mutual respect.
  • To ensure the smooth operation of the clinic during shifts, anticipating and addressing potential issues to maintain optimal workflow and efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A recognised veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent) and relevant experience in veterinary nursing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • The capacity to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities while maintaining a focus on patient care and safety.
  • Experience in both routine and emergency veterinary care is highly desirable, as is a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
