Dementia Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our care team at Sunnybank House, a prestigious care home in Eastleigh. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their independence, choice, and individuality.
The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of care legislation, including CQC Fundamental Standards, and experience in supervising and mentoring care assistants. You will also have a NVQ level 3 (or equivalent qualification) and medication administration experience (with relevant qualification).
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working with older people and those with dementia.
- A NVQ level 3 (or equivalent qualification).
- Medication administration experience (with relevant qualification).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
