Job Title: Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at University Hospitals Birmingham. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors within our hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol hospital premises to detect and prevent security breaches
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to incidents as necessary
  • Interact with staff and visitors to provide a high level of customer service
  • Conduct searches and monitor car parks to prevent unauthorized access
  • Liaise with internal security teams and emergency services as required
Requirements:
  • Valid Door Supervisor SIA License
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the security industry
  • Own transport and a fully clean UK driving license
  • Basic IT skills and understanding of smart mobile use
  • Flexibility to work varied shift patterns including days, nights, and weekends
