**Heavy Duty Lifting Engineer Job Description:**
GAP Group LTD is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Lifting Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, testing, and maintenance of heavy duty lifting equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy duty lifting engineering, with experience in inspecting and testing lifting equipment in accordance with LOLER / PUWER.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Inspect and test heavy duty lifting equipment to ensure it meets safety standards
- Maintain and repair heavy duty lifting equipment to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operations
- Collaborate with the TIC team to maintain the hire fleet and provide bespoke solutions to lifting-based queries
- Advise customers on the correct selection and use of heavy duty lifting equipment during site surveys
