Automotive Team Lead

The role of the Cell Leader at Orion Electrotech involves overseeing and motivating production operatives within a machine shop environment. This includes managing performance, optimising production capacity using lean manufacturing techniques, and ensuring operational output, quality, and cost targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of assembly technicians
- Optimising production capacity
- Setting and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Ensuring operational output, quality, and cost targets are met
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in managing a team
- Cylindrical grinding, surface grinding, bore grinding, and milling experience
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in upskilling and training staff
Additional Information:
We require someone with experience in leading teams, who can effectively manage production operations and implement lean manufacturing techniques. Lean Six Sigma qualifications are also desirable.
