Pipefitter Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing pipework systems in large and small-bore pipework using different materials. Your skills and experience will enable you to use a range of hand tools & mechanical equipment to cut, bend and weld pipes as well as installation of pipework.

The successful candidate will have a Modern Apprenticeship certificate also known as Trade Papers, current knowledge and experience of pipe manufacture and installation, and use of associated equipment. You will understand manufacturing processes, have clear understanding of SHE, COSHH risks awareness and be comfortable working in confined spaces and/or at height. Safety certification such as SHE Induction, COSHH awareness, working at height etc. is also essential.

You will work on a variety of shifts including day, back, night and weekend shifts, operating in a new innovative and competitive environment where you can be flexible about how you work and what you work on. The salary for this role is £37,318.00 (additional shift allowance of 33% may be applicable) per year.
