Job Description: Railway Engineering Specialist Lead


Morson Talent Careers is currently seeking a highly skilled Railway Engineering Specialist Lead to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients in delivering high-quality civil engineering projects within the railway industry.


The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing civil/structural engineering designers, coordinating multi-disciplinary requirements, and developing civil engineering solutions that meet programme deadlines and engineering standards.


This role involves overseeing the design process from concept to completion, ensuring that designs meet all relevant standards and regulations. You will work closely with other teams to ensure effective project delivery and maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the design process to ensure high-quality designs and solutions.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary requirements to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Develop civil engineering solutions that meet programme deadlines and engineering standards.

You will be responsible for managing a team of civil/structural engineering designers, ensuring they meet all deadlines and deliver high-quality designs. Your expertise in current Euro/BS standards and ability to apply them effectively in design and construction will be essential in this role.


We are looking for a skilled professional who is able to lead by example, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and promote a culture of innovation and excellence within the team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


Estimated salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum based on location and experience.
