About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at the Minor Injury Unit at Stratton Hospital. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and monitor patients during infusions and transfusions under the direct supervision of a registered nurse/paramedic
  • Undertake dressings under the direction of a trained nurse/paramedic
  • Prepare and maintain environments and equipment before, during, and after patient care interventions
  • Assist other clinicians while patients undergo treatment/procedures
  • Assist in raising awareness of health and well-being and how it can be promoted
  • Give accurate and appropriate information to patients within own competence
