Polytec Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join their Estates and Facilities team based in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for onsite electrical / mechanical servicing and repairs, as well as being on-call approximately 6 to 8 weeks each year.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, offering a salary of £29,500 - £39,000 per annum. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising external service providers and contractors, monitoring and identifying fault diagnostics, and overseeing the operation of steam boilers and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise external service providers and contractors.
  • Monitor and identify fault diagnostics.
  • Oversee the operation of steam boilers and systems.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications. You should also have full UK driving licence, experience of working in a complex building with responsibility for electrical and/or mechanical systems, and good working knowledge of engineering services.
