Retail Area Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced and inspiring area manager to join our trading team. As a key ambassador for Cancer Research UK, you will support the cultural aims of the charity while maximizing area sales and profits.
About the Role- Lead your teams and manage people, resources, and budgets effectively in your area.
- Drive key performance indicators across your area, including income, expenditure, processing targets, and customer service.
- Oversee the commercial running of your area and make data-driven decisions.
- Sustain high street and charity retailer trends awareness and apply knowledge to your area.
- Support teams in recruitment, development, retention, performance management, equality, and diversity.
- Maintain shop standards with regard to displays, merchandising, stock management, generation, and store layouts.
- Implement national volunteer recruitment campaigns and support divisional and national projects.
- An inspiring leader with experience in managing geographically dispersed teams.
- Ability to work within targets and motivate others to achieve them.
- Commercial awareness with excellent business judgment.
- Capacity to build networks and collaborate effectively.
- Adaptability in changing situations, including independent work.
- Leadership experience in retail teams across multiple sites.
