Our client, a global asset management company McCabe & Barton, is seeking an experienced Enterprise IT Specialist to join the IT Team. This role involves maintaining the health of the company's Servers, security systems, and datacentres in a fast-moving environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring system redundancy, reliability, and uptime, often working independently within the established change control framework.

A base salary of up to £90k + bonus + benefits is on offer, with 1 day a week spent in Cambridge.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux systems.
  • Investigate and diagnose problems.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to the company's Linux systems.
  • Plan and implement new systems.
  • Follow and improve existing procedures.

The ideal candidate is a proficient Systems Administrator with good problem-solving skills and excellent communication and team player qualities.

Essential areas of expertise include:

  • Linux (RHEL 8)
  • Puppet/Ansible

The estimated salary for this position is £85-£95 per hour, equivalent to approximately £173,600 - £203,200 per annum, based on a 35-hour workweek.
