We are seeking a seasoned Investigation Lawyer to lead our high-stakes cases, driving results and delivering exceptional outcomes through collaborative efforts with internal and external stakeholders worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, enabling them to craft case strategies, make key decisions, build high-performing teams, and achieve successful outcomes. They will also contribute to organisational learning, identifying innovative resolutions and legal precedents that can inform future cases.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting search warrants, attending searches, interviewing witnesses, and identifying asset recovery options in tandem with our Proceeds Of Crime team.
  • Engaging counsel for trial and disclosure work.
  • Collaborating with overseas law enforcement and prosecuting agencies, potentially involving travel.
  • Enhancing technical skills through working with digital evidence, with training provided on our software.
  • Managing multiple cases simultaneously and expanding career experience by working on diverse cases.

To succeed in this role, you must be a barrister authorised by the Bar Council to practice in England and Wales or a solicitor admitted by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority, with a minimum of 2 years PQE.

We will assess your leadership abilities, communication skills, and influencing capacity during the selection process.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Serious Fraud Office (UK) as a High-Stakes Investigation Lawyer.
