Teaching Assistant Job Description

This Science Teaching Assistant role is ideal for individuals considering a career in teaching. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the Science department to support students and develop your teaching skills.

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive and dynamic environment, with the chance to progress on to Initial Teacher Training from September 2025.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist students in the classroom, providing support and guidance to enhance their learning experience.
  2. Work collaboratively with the Science department to design engaging lessons and resources.
  3. Contribute to maintaining a positive and respectful learning environment.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on location and experience.
