Secondary School Assistant Teacher

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join our client's secondary school team on a long-term, full-time basis. This role will involve working closely with the class teacher, supporting students with SEN needs, and contributing to the overall academic success of the school.
">Key Responsibilities: As a teaching assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
">- Providing educational support to students in KS3 and KS4">
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson planning and delivery">
- Supporting SEN pupils and adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs">
- Working one-on-one and in groups with students">
- Managing classroom behavior and maintaining a positive learning environment">
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have a proven track record of working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school setting, preferably with SEN pupils. You must also possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have knowledge of safeguarding policies.
">Salary and Benefits: This position offers a competitive salary, which we estimate to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. You will also receive comprehensive benefits, including holiday pay accrual and access to our Refer a Friend scheme.
