Research Scientist in Immunology

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to join our team at Imperial College London. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in the field of immunology, with a focus on liver disease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in immune dysregulation in liver disease using human tissue samples and/or in vivo models.
  • Plan and carry out wet-lab work, including immune cell isolation, flow cytometry, and tissue multiplex stain imaging.
  • Conduct computational data analysis, applying established and innovative approaches for the analysis of multi-omics datasets.
  • Work collaboratively with experimental and computational scientists to address complex biological problems in liver immunology.
  • Assist with data collection and analysis, ensuring the validity and reliability of data.
  • Develop and maintain study design and standard operating procedures.
  • Undertake necessary training and development courses.
  • Provide guidance and supervision for student projects and instruction of students in bioinformatic analysis approaches.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of immunology and computational background with experience in genomic data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for exploring the interface between computational and experimental immunology.
