Job Title: Class 2 Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team at EV Cargo. As a Class 2 Driver, you will play a critical role in delivering products to our customers while ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
  • Manage handheld terminals and record accurate information.
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and return it to the Transport Office.
  • Report any delivery issues in a timely manner to the Transport Office.
  • Provide a professional driving service, meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.
  • May be required to drive 3.5t vehicles during peak periods.
  • Able to work weekends.
Requirements:
  • Class 2 Driving Licence (C+E), Valid CPC, Digital Tacho Card.
  • Previous experience is essential.
  • Refrigeration and multi-drop experience would be beneficial.
  • Strong geographical and logistical knowledge.
