DT Technician

A highly skilled DT Technician is required to join our team at a reputable secondary school in Swindon. This permanent role offers a fantastic opportunity to utilize your passion and enthusiasm to enhance students' learning experiences in design and technology.

The ideal candidate will be able to bring their subject to life, be flexible and adaptable, and communicate effectively to build strong relationships with colleagues and students. Emotional intelligence is essential in this role, as you will be working with students who may have different personalities and learning styles.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Supporting students with their design and technology projects
• Developing and delivering engaging lessons in 3D design, woodwork, metalwork, and drawing
• Maintaining and ordering equipment and materials
• Collaborating with DT teachers and other department members
