Behaviour Support Assistant - Full Time - Reading

We are working alongside a fantastic alternative provision based in Reading, who want to welcome an enthusiastic candidate to the team as a Behaviour Support Assistant. The school provides education and support to students who face challenges regarding behaviour and mental health. They are seeking a confident individual to join them as a Behaviour Support Assistant to support the students who benefit from consistent guidance and encouragement.

The Behaviour Support Assistant's Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential triggers for challenging behaviour
  • Encourage independence and self-investigation
  • Act as a role model for students
  • Communicate with teachers, parents, and on-site professionals
  • Ensure students feel safe and able to express themselves
