Our client, a leading company in Cardiff, seeks a highly skilled Management Accountant to join their team. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.

Job Description:
  • Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts for multiple business units.
  • Support budget holders with analysis and review of the accounts, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain fixed asset registers, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries to the general ledger, accurately reflecting financial transactions.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and statistical reports as required, utilizing data visualization tools to present findings.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in working with various software packages, including spreadsheets, database applications, and accounting systems.
  • Effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders at different levels within the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Experience with accounting software, such as Sage or SAP
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
