Graduate Structural Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a talented graduate with a strong interest in structural design to join our successful civil and structural design consultancy. As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will work on a variety of projects, including steel design, and have the opportunity to work on projects from conception to completion.

Our client offers an excellent training program, which will allow you to work on design, get involved in project management, and work with the drafting team. You will be offered a highly competitive salary, including pension contribution and bonus schemes, plus 25 days leave excluding bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work on a variety of projects, including steel design, and have the opportunity to work on projects from conception to completion.
  2. Participate in the design process and work closely with the drafting team.
  3. Get involved in project management and develop your skills in this area.
  4. Work on a range of projects, including utilities, telecoms, rail, and highways.

Requirements:

  1. A strong degree in civil or structural engineering (a 2:1 or first-class MEng being preferable).
  2. A working knowledge of CAD would be advantageous although not essential.
  3. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
