Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Personal Care Assistant to provide high-quality care to our clients in their own homes. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal care, medication management, and domestic tasks. You will work closely with our care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and using the toilet
  • Manage clients' medication and ensure timely administration
  • Perform domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Prepare and serve meals as required
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfers
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care work, preferably in a home care setting
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Diploma in Care or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
