About the Childcare Lawyer Role

We are seeking a qualified Childcare Lawyer to join our dynamic and friendly Legal Team at the London Borough of Lewisham.

Main Responsibilities
  • Handling a demanding caseload of child protection cases, with opportunities for advocacy in the Central Family Court
  • Advising Social Services clients on relevant legislation and preparing legal documentation
  • Carrying out legal research and assisting Senior Social Care Lawyers and Principal Lawyer on complex matters

Requirements
  • Qualified lawyer with at least 3 years PQE (Barrister, Solicitor, or CILEx)
