Job Title: Personal Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our service user with their day-to-day life, providing clinical support with management of their spinal injury, including bowel and catheter care, support and awareness with their autonomic dysreflexia and pain management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to our service user, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with clinical care needs, including bowel and catheter care, and support with autonomic dysreflexia and pain management.
  • Support our service user with their rehabilitation goals, including attending appointments and providing ongoing support with physio and rehabilitation activities.
  • Assist with household duties, including stock checks and light duties.
  • Provide a peaceful environment and attend to our service user's clinical needs during the night.

Requirements:

  • 3 months previous care experience.
  • Moving and Handling.
  • Driver.
  • Comfortable around dogs.

Desirable Experience:

  • Spinal management experience.
  • Experience within a physio or rehabilitation setting.

Shifts and Pay:

We have the following shifts available:

Part Time Days: 2 shifts per week, 7am-7pm, including weekends.

Full Time Nights: 3 shifts per week, 7pm-7am, including weekends.

Workers must be available for alternative weekend shifts.

Pay rates: Weekdays: £14.00 per hour, Weeknights: £15.00 per hour, Weekends: £16.00 per hour, Bank Holidays: £18.00 per hour.
