We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team at Green Folk Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal products to meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Work in accordance with all company health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products using a variety of techniques, including cutting, bending, and shaping.
- Set up and operate fabricating machines and hand tools to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal.
- Inspect, assemble, and smooth seams and joints of welded, brazed, or burred surfaces.
- Apprenticeship and/or experience working in sheet metal fabrication for the aerospace industry.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods.
- Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative to achieve goals.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Competitive hourly rate of £17-20 per hour.
- Full-time standard working week of 37 hours (Monday-Thursday 7:45am-4:15pm, Friday 7:45am-12:45pm).
- Flexible hours and alternative shift patterns available.
- Salary exchange for pension contributions and buying/selling holiday.
- Overtime paid at time and a half.
- On-site parking.
