Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Animal Care Specialist to join our team in a dynamic veterinary practice. As part of our vibrant and growing organization, you will provide exceptional care to animals while working in a collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners.

Job Details:
• Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
• Working Hours: covering 40 hours per week over 4 weekdays (08:00 – 18:30), along with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings covering consults only (08:00 – 11:00)
• Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
  • Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
  • Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.

Qualifications and Skills:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
  • A valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • A compassionate and caring approach to animals.
