Job Summary:
Pertemps is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team in supporting Royal Mail's operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and collect mail and parcels at the local delivery office for delivery to customers.
- Utilize a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries and navigate routes.
- Walk at least 8 miles per day, carrying a bag that can weigh up to 16kg, and delivering letters and parcels with parcels weighing up to 20kg.
- Drive and deliver on foot, and push/pull a trolley during deliveries.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points (a clean license is preferred).
- Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
