We are seeking skilled heating engineers to join our team of contractors in the Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth & Hinckley area.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for self-employed heating engineers to work on an ongoing service & repair contract with a local heating contractor.

Contract Terms:
  • Location: Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth & Hinckley
  • Work Type: Annual Service Visits (Annual Gas Safety Check), Landlord Gas Safety Records, and central heating repairs.
  • Work Load: 6-8 pre-booked appointments per day
  • Commitment: Minimum of set 3 days per week. Up to 5 days available plus optional weekends and evening call out available at enhanced rates.
  • Contract Length: Ongoing (no end date)
Earnings Potential:

£23.00 to £30.75 per job, with potential for increased earnings through weekend and evening work.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct annual gas safety checks and report any required repairs
  2. Carry out landlord gas safety records and central heating repairs
  3. Maintain a high standard of work and adhere to industry regulations
Requirements:
  • 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer
  • ACS Qualifications including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) & HTR1 (Gas Fires)
  • Panel Van (plain or sign written)
  • Gas Safe Registration
  • Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser
