DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a talented DevOps Apprentice to join our team and support a large, complex client program based in London. This role offers a unique opportunity for rapid on-the-job learning, combined with structured training and mentoring, to become a skilled Systems Engineer, Software Developer, or DevOps Engineer.

• Maintain and enhance existing solutions, architect, and develop new customer solutions
• Provide technical support to users
• Contribute to DevOps pipelines, including planning, coding, building, testing, releasing, deploying, operating, and monitoring
• Use tools such as repos, version control, testing, deployment, Git, Jenkins, Selenium, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and VMWare
• Work with scripting and coding languages like Python, JSON,.NET, and PowerShell
• Document existing infrastructure and CI/CD processes, including security and quality tooling
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using PowerShell for reliability and reduced downtime
• Plan, design, and build IP Networking and physical networks

• Completed Level 3 Software Development Apprenticeship with QA or equivalent qualification
• A-level in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) subject and successful completion of our aptitude test
• BTEC Diploma in IT and successful completion of our aptitude test
• 2 years' experience in a relevant role and successful completion of our aptitude test
