Groundworker Apprenticeship Standards Expert

NOCN Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced freelance end point assessor to evaluate apprentices against the Groundworker apprenticeship standard. As a freelancer, you will have the flexibility to work remotely and travel to sites as required.
Estimated salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Evaluating apprentices against the knowledge test, skills test, and professional discussion components of the assessment.
- Uploading reports from assessments in a timely manner and in line with NOCN's service level agreements.
- Maintaining hands-on CPD in your subject area to ensure your knowledge is up-to-date.
You will also be expected to represent NOCN in a professional manner when conducting assessments and adhere to GDPR practices to ensure all data is secure.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must:
- Have at least 5 years of relevant industrial experience, including 2 years in the last 5 years working in the Groundwork industry or having taken relevant and current CPD in Groundwork.
- Hold a Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (or equivalent qualification).
- Be qualified in a construction craft vocational qualification at L2 or above, such as bricklaying or construction operations.
