Job Description

Job Role: HGV Technician

Location: Hampshire

Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent role

Working hours / days: Monday - Friday

Hourly rate: £22.12 per hour + overtime paid at time and a half

Job Overview:

The Logistics Partnership LLP is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team. As a skilled workshop technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on HGVs, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with HGVs
  • Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment
  • Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to achieve team goals

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as an HGV Technician
  • Strong knowledge of heavy commercial vehicle mechanics and repair
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
