Project Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the construction delivery of a major Hospital project in the Midlands region.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the project delivery team, building and developing the project team, managing Client and stakeholder relationships, and ensuring the day-to-day delivery of the project in terms of cost, value, schedule, safety, quality, and environment.
You will have responsibility for the resourcing, development, and leadership of the team, defining and communicating project objectives and constraints, and complying with health, safety, and environmental legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the finances (revenue, costs, and cash flow) of projects.
- Manage operational communications and relationships with customers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for the projects.
- Provide regular, accurate, consolidated reports and forecasts for the project to the regional executive team.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in leading on healthcare construction projects with a Tier 1 Main Contractor in the UK of significant value from pre-construction through delivery to handover.
- Relevant qualifications – degree level, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrable experience of managing project budgets and programmes.
- Detailed understanding of the CDM and health and safety legislation.
- Expert knowledge of delivery under NEC and JCT contract conditions.
- IT literacy including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email as well as experience of using ASTA Power Project or Microsoft Project.
- SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, First Aid.
