About the Role

We are seeking a talented Continuous Improvement Professional to join our team at Teva, a global pharmaceutical company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining adherence to our Lean Management System (LMS) standards for continuous improvement (CI).

Primary responsibilities include identifying, prioritizing, managing, and executing CI opportunities to improve the overall operational effectiveness of our site, reducing sources of loss, and meeting improvement targets. You will analyze data to drive root cause analyses and prioritize improvements.

This role is a key enabler to the successful sustainability of LMS within our site. You will be responsible for sustaining one or more work areas (Tier 1) CI Loop, leading Operational Excellence initiatives, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement with your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for sustaining one or more work area (Tier 1) CI Loop
  2. Lead Operational Excellence initiatives (i.e., 5S, M1 investigations, etc.), and promote a culture of continuous improvement with your team
  3. Explore and assist in the deployment of cost-reduction ideas, particularly focused on improving line efficiency and increasing asset capacity through various initiatives
  4. Input and analyze data from LMS pillars and other work centers to identify largest sources of loss and areas for improvement, including collaboration with CI Specialists across ecosystems
  5. Collaborate with other team members on identifying and implementing CI opportunities. Utilize data to influence project prioritization
  6. Assist in the investigation of deviations on the manufacturing floor. Perform root cause analysis and help to identify effective CAPAs
  7. With support from the Pillar Lead: facilitate the CI Loop meetings, including project prioritization and escalation. Attend Tier meetings and facilitate real-time structured problem solving
  8. Receive and provide Gemba on the CI Loop pillar
  9. Work with Pillar Lead and LMS colleagues to build, maintain and improve LMS within the work area
  10. Partner with shop floor colleagues, leadership and enablers to ensure continuous improvement initiatives are identified and completed in a timely manner
