About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Law Paralegal to join our team at Sheridans, a leading London law firm. The successful candidate will have a strong background in employment law and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake a wide range of document management activities, including drafting and reviewing documents, and ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with the preparation of employment contracts and policy documents, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including diary management, travel arrangements, and event organization.
  • Work closely with fee earners to prepare for Employment Tribunals, including compiling evidence, drafting witness statements, and conducting legal research.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and advice as needed.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of previous experience working within and supporting a busy City employment practice.
  • A strong sense of commerciality alongside technical excellence.
  • A methodical approach to work with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Enthusiasm, resilience, and a professional approach, with an excellent customer service ethic.
  • Ability to liaise with, persuade and influence colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to remain organized, prioritize and multi-task particularly when managing a large workload under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work confidentially, remaining discreet at all times.
  • Flexibility towards working out of regular hours at busy times.
