- Equipment Maintenance: Install, commission, service, and repair pumps, pump systems, and other mechanical equipment.
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits as scheduled by the service manager, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Emergency Response: Attend emergency call-outs, performing necessary repairs and communicating effectively with the team.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure safety at all times, producing robust risk assessments and method statements.
- Professionalism: Maintain professionalism and diligence, prioritizing customer satisfaction and outstanding service.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance on wastewater systems, identifying and addressing faults.
- Reporting and Communication: Produce detailed summaries of work, manage work effectively, and communicate progress with schedulers.
- Company Policies: Keep up to date with company policies and procedures, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and stock levels.
- On-Call Rota: Participate in the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours cover.
- Technical Knowledge: Technical knowledge of water boosting technology and packaged pump stations.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the pump industry or construction-related roles.
- Qualifications: Confined Space Entry Qualification, Current CSCS qualification, and some electrical training.
- Soft Skills: Self-motivated with a "can do" attitude and a high standard of workmanship, excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and effective communication skills.
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000-£45,000, overtime paid at time and a half, on-call allowance, company van, tools, and mobile phone.
