Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Assessment Specialist to join our team at Best Practice Network. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, mentoring, and supporting the training and assessment of apprentices in the Early Years Education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct skills reviews with apprentices and employers to identify gaps in knowledge and skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized training plans to ensure apprentices achieve their program goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate progress and perform regular workplace observations.
  • Deliver high-quality training, including functional skills, to meet awarding body standards.
  • Assess skills and behaviors, providing feedback via the e-portfolio system.

Requirements:

  • Hold a qualification or have experience in the subject area of Early Years Education.
  • Have up-to-date industry knowledge and experience working with employers in a training or customer relations role.
  • Able to develop strong professional relationships with employers and learners.
  • Strong IT skills and willingness to work with e-portfolios.
  • Can motivate learners to complete their programs on time.
  • Hold a full driving license, own vehicle, and be willing to travel to customer sites.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
