Nursery Teacher Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting students' social and emotional development, and fostering a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet the requirements of the Nursery curriculum
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development
- Provide individualized support to students based on their unique needs and abilities
- Collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' achievements and behaviour
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a strong partnership between home and school
Requirements:
- QTS, EYTS, PGCE and strong academic record
- Bachelor's degree in Education, with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery) or equivalent
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Nursery curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons
- Possession of a passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students
