Embedded Software Verification Specialist

We are Round Peg Solutions, a managed service provider partnered with an Aerospace company in the UK to handle their recruitment process. They manufacture revolutionary technology for advanced air mobility and are seeking a skilled Verification Software Engineer to join them on a long-term contract basis.
The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
- Developing test cases for unit testing and Hardware-in-the-loop environments based on requirements.
- Supporting software development projects by producing test plans that meet timing goals.
- Facilitating communication between the software development team and wider project teams.
- Following the approved software development process for Design Assurance Level A of RTCA DO-178C.
To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:
- A degree or equivalent in software or electrical engineering.
- Previous experience as an engineer in developing and testing embedded software in safety-critical products (DO-178 or ISO26262).
- Experience with C programming language.
- Familiarity with model-based development methods and auto-coding tools like MATLAB or Simulink.
- Familiarity with Agile software development & DevOps methodologies and industry best practices.
