We are seeking a dynamic and motivated planning professional to join our local plans team. The successful candidate will have significant experience in preparing development plan policies and their implementation.
The local plan is in the final stages of examination and is due to be adopted towards the end of the year. You will be actively involved in the preparation of a suite of Supplementary Planning Documents to support the plans implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing development plan policies and their implementation
- Working with the local plans team to develop and implement the local plan
- Preparing Supplementary Planning Documents to support the plans implementation
You will have a degree in Town and Country Planning and full membership of the RTPI. You will also have experience of dealing with major and complex planning policy issues and be able to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide variety of people.
