Software Engineer Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering our brand, products, and services to our clients and their advisers.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop services and APIs using C# and work with relational and NoSQL databases
* Use a git-based source control system and CI automation systems such as Jenkins
* Have experience working in an Agile and DevOps environment
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Planning, organisation, and time management skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

* Working knowledge of domain-driven design
* Docker/Kubernetes and container orchestration tools
* Knowledge of design patterns
* AWS cloud infrastructure/Relevant AWS certifications
* Previous experience working in e-commerce and/or financial services
