Atlas Professionals is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead our Land Seismic operations in the UK. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years of experience in the onshore geophysical industry and possess strong business development skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and overseeing company operations, seeking business opportunities, and evaluating and preparing proposals for tender submission. They will also be responsible for analyzing tenders and providing technical alternatives where required, networking with potential clients and competitors within the Land Seismic industry, and developing and discussing strategies to boost sales and profits.

The Operations Manager will report directly to the Operations Director and will be responsible for ensuring all HSE policies are adhered to and liaising with the HSE Manager for updates and continued development. They will also be responsible for fostering an inclusive and diverse working environment, promoting growth and opportunities for employees, and promoting strategies to ensure HSE policies are encouraged and implemented throughout all phases of the business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HSE policies and procedures, as well as experience in evaluating political, environmental, and human rights risks associated with potential projects. They will also have a general understanding of related taxation and other corporate exposure.

Requirements:

  • Minimum ten years of onshore geophysical industry business experience
  • Strong business development skills
  • Strong understanding of HSE policies and procedures
  • Experience in evaluating political, environmental, and human rights risks
  • General understanding of related taxation and other corporate exposure
