Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Urban Forestry Coordinator to lead our tree planting and establishment efforts across Enfield Borough. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for organizing and implementing tree planting programs, collaborating with external partners, and managing budgets to achieve our environmental goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and management of tree planting and establishment projects
  • Collaborate with external partners, including contractors and community groups, to achieve project objectives
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective delivery of tree planting programs
  • Provide expert advice on tree-related issues and arboricultural best practices
  • Work closely with the Watercourses team to integrate tree planting into Sustainable Drainage (SuDS) and Natural Flood Management projects


**Requirements:**
  • Degree in Arboriculture or related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of tree identification and species suited to various planting locations
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to respond to varying work demands, occasionally outside normal working hours


**Salary:** £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
